Fourteen people from five organizations attended the IT@coops Steering Committee held at Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City, Philippines from 9-11 November 2006. In attendance were four representatives from the Credit Union League of Thailand (CULT), Thailand; two representatives from the Forum for Indonesia Co-operatives Movement (FORMASI-Indonesia), Indonesia; three representatives from the National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO), Philippines; two representatives from InWEnt, and three representatives from the Asian Women in Co-operative Development Forum (AWCF).

Within three days, the participants were able to discuss the difficulties as well as the best practices and experiences regarding project implementation concerning CULT, FORMASI and NATCCO. Furthermore, they also discussed the terminal evaluation of the Trainers Training programme by focusing on the present status of the trained Co-op IT Specialist and Trainers. They also planned for the remaining portions of the project, specifically the detailed program plan and budget for 2007 of the three AWCF umbrella organizations, inclusive of the project’s sustainability vis-à-vis InWEnt’s pledge for continued support for the project even though the it@coops project will end by 2007.
